Who is Abraham?
Abraham is a name given to refer to a group of non-physical entities who are able to telepathically communicate with Esther Hicks. Esther Hicks calls Abraham "infinite intelligence".
Origin of Abraham-Hicks Relationship
Esther Hicks started being able to communicate with Abraham after about 9 months of meditation. After a few more months of non-verbal communication with Abraham, conversations with Abraham started to take shape. Eventually Esther and Jerry Hicks started sharing the wisdom of Abraham with groups of people that progressively grew larger and larger.
Abraham's Message
Abraham's message is expanded on the basic principle of the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction states that "the essence of that which is like unto itself is drawn." So, events, circumstances, people and things around a person all reflect that person's vibration. Feeling good or positive emotions brings forth more positive manifestation. A vibration of negativity or inadequacy can manifest as scarcity in material belongings or depleted health or something else that's not desired. Abraham's teachings offer plenty of practical ways to get into the perfect feeling place, where it's impossible for positive manifestation not to follow.

Art of Allowing Workshops
In an attempt to bring the message of Abraham and the Law of Attraction to inquiring people everywhere, Esther and Jerry Hicks travel all over the world conducting the Art of Allowing (used to be called The Science of Deliberate Creation) workshops. Abraham's responses are filled with humor and common sense. Their answers are simple, yet effective. Before the workshop begins, they (Abraham) say that no topic is off limits. The audience questions range from from personal, material, spiritual and general to extra-terrestrial, pre-birth and post-death, to mention just a few topics.
Esther Hicks and The Secret movie
Esther Hicks appeared in the first release of the movie The Secret, which is based on the belief that our thoughts create our life and that money, health and good relationships are within everyone's reach. Esther Hicks is not present in the second release of the movie because of, (according to Esther and Jerry Hicks), disagreements between the movie producers and the Hicks on the subject of intellectual property rights. There is a DVD available from Abraham-Hicks called The Secret Behind the Secret, which according to abraham-hicks.com, is said to have "important Source material not included in the movie 'The Secret' ."
